The Guild Build

This year in a fit of Madness I signed myself up to the guilds yearly build.
Not doing things by half a decided to do the D-Day landings on Sword beach.
And the days following it. I decided to stick with 10 mm but decided to do
Pegasus Bridge, the D-Day landings themselves and the 21st Pzr Div counter attack!
Not many figures I hear you say lol. I also decided if I was doing Pegasus I would also need Lord Lovat and Pipe Major Bill  Millen with their Commando Escort and elements of 6 Para.
So enough of my waffle here's some pictures

The Attackers British Infantry the three bases in front are engineers and the 2 Bns to the Side are the start of 6th Airborne. The tanks to the side are the start of Hobarts Funnies.

The Start of the German defenders still lots more to go. 4 Bn's worth to defend all of Sword Beach and inland (After checking these more thouroughly only ended up with 20 bases a few Falschirmjaeger and Panzerfaust bases had sneaked in. Oh well more to order.

Far too long

well it's been far too long since I posted anything on here.
Since my last post I have returned from Bavaria worked for TATA Steel and have now returned to Bavaria.

I decided I wanted to do an early war Falschirnjaeger Bn for when I do Operation Sealion. This is my initial shopping list I started off small with just one Bn.

This is still to much I have plenty of officers left and MP40's as NCO's but these will help me flesh out my next Bn.

As I start making my games room I have started to paint the room but on a trip to a recycling centre I found some storage units from an old school so I bought them. These have all the wooden trays so the cupboard is full. I also got one that just has removable shelves I'm going to use this for my terrain.
